CHEATING BREEDS DOUBT

A boy and a girl were playing together. The boy had a collection of Pearls. The girl had deck of cards.

The boy told the girl that he will give her all his pearls in exchange for her cards. The girl agreed.

The boy kept the biggest and the most beautiful pearl aside and gave the rest to the girl. The girl gave him all her cards as she had promised.

That night, the girl slept peacefully. But, the boy couldn't sleep as he kept wondering if the girl had hidden some cards from him, the way he had hidden his best pearl.

This is exactly how most relationships are, If you don't give your hundred percent in a relationship, you'll always keep doubting if the other person has given his/her hundred percent… If you truly love someone, you have to give and do your best, by doing the right thing. We have to realize that love is not enough to make a relationship work. We need trust, respect, time, effort and total commitment. If a person doesn't show respect, doesn't earn your trust and can't keep a promise, then no matter how many times they say, "I LOVE YOU," those words will be empty. Take time to listen to what they don't say. Take time to look at what they don't show. Because there are secrets hidden beneath their words. So don't let passion but wisdom decide for you. Love wisely because it is never easy to love and get hurt.

I think the best way to an everlasting relationship comes from two words... DON'T LIE! Or DON'T CHEAT!! If you must lie, then lie in the arms of the one you love, if you must cheat, cheat death and LIVE FOR YOUR LOVE!
Give your hundred percent to everything you do and sleep peacefully.

LOVING A BEST FRIEND

How do I tell you that I like you?
How can I say that you're the only thing on my mind?
We’re supposed to be just friends...
But for me there's so much more there...
I just don't know how to tell you.

We’ll never be together
Still you’re in my heart forever
I don’t know how…
I don’t know when…
I’ll get used to the fact
That you’re just my friend…
If I told you I love you…would you still be my friend?

If I have to be just your best friend
If that’s all that I can get
Then I'll take the job with honor
I'll be the best one yet
I'll offer you my shoulder
I'll show you how I care
I'll be there when you need me
I'm not going anywhere

If I have to be your best friend
The one who hears you cry
Then I'll take the job with honor
I'll take the job with pride
My love for you is stronger
Than you will ever know

LIVING IN LOVE

“There is a desire within each of us,
in the deep center of ourselves
that we call our heart.
We were born with it,
it is never completely satisfied,
and it never dies.
We are often unaware of it,
but it is always awake.

It is the Human desire for Love.
Every person in this Earth yearns to love,
to be loved, to know love.
Our true identity, our reason for being
is to be found in this desire.

Love is the "why" of life,
why we are functioning at all.
I am convinced
it is the fundamental energy
of the human spirit.
the fuel on which we run,
the wellspring of our vitality.

And grace,
which is the flowing,
creative activity, of love itself,
is what makes all goodness possible.

Love should come first,
it should be the beginning of,
and the reason for everything.”

LIFE & LIVIN' IT!

The note below was sent into my mail by somebody i don't know but i was inspired after reading it, so i decided to share it here with y'all, hope it inspires you as much as it inspired me

"Today we have bigger houses and smaller families.
More conveniences, but less time.
We have more degrees, but less common sense.
More knowledge, but less good judgment.
We have more experts, but more problems.
More medicine, but less wellness.
We spend too recklessly;
Laugh too little,
Drive too fast,
Get angry too quickly,
Stay up too late,
Read too little,
Watch TV too much,
And pray too seldom!

We’ve multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too little, and lie too often.
We’ve learned how to make a living, but not a life.
We’ve added more years to life, not more life to our years.
We have taller buildings, but shorter temples;
Wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints.
We spend more, but have less.
We buy more, but enjoy it less.

We’ve been all the way to the moon and back, but we have trouble crossing the street to meet our neighbors.
We’ve conquered outer space, But not inner space.
We’ve split the atom, But not our prejudice.
We write more, learn less; plan more, but accomplish less.
We’ve learned to rush, but not to wait.
We have higher incomes, but lower morals.

We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies, But have less communications.
We are long on quantity, But short on quality.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion;
Tall men and short characters.
More leisure and less fun;
More kinds of foods, but less nutrition.
Two incomes, but more divorces.
Fancier houses, but broken homes.

That’s why I propose, that as of today, you don’t keep anything for special occasions, because every day you live is a special occasion.
Search for knowledge.
Sit on your front porch and admire the view without paying attention to your needs.
Spend more time with your family and friends.
Eat your favorite foods and visit the places you love.

Life is a chain of moments of enjoyment, not only about survival.
Use your crystal goblets.
Don’t save your best perfume, use it every time you feel you want it.

Remove from your vocabulary phrases like
“one of these days“ and “someday”.
Write that letter you’ve thought about writing.
Tell your family and friends how much you love them.
Don’t delay anything that adds laughter and joy to your life.
Every day, every hour, and every minute is special.
You don’t know if it will be your last."

HAPPINESS

Bookmark and Share
Happiness is illusive and not easily attained by most; people are quick to tire of the normalcy of life. And search fruitlessly for things unattainable. To waste one's existence on the futile quest for something they already possess is one of life’s greatest disappointments. To enjoy what one has before it is gone is the true path to happiness.

Happiness is a very subjective factor in one's life. I believe being happy doesn't depend on achieving what you want, but rather making the best out of what is given. To be happy, don’t do whatever you like – like whatever you do. For, happiness comes not from having much to live ON, but having much to live FOR.

Life isn't fair, it never was. The only thing that can make you completely happy is contentment. The art of being happy lies in the power of finding contentment in ordinary things. Happiness is learning to appreciate every little blessing and finding the positive lessons in every hurt and failure. I've finally come to understand that whatever happens, all those stumbling blocks and problems have nothing to do with real happiness. Real happiness is facing yourself and learning to love what you see, flaws and all. It's taking enjoyment just from the process of being human. After all, life does not really force us to be the best; it only asks that we try. So be contented with what you have, but be sure to aim high and never stop believing you can do better every time.

Also, don't try to figure out where you'll find true happiness, because true happiness lies within you. And if you try to make others happy, happiness will find you. Happiness adds and multiplies as we divide it with others. Happiness is not something you have in your hands. It's something you carry in your heart. So waste no time and effort searching for peace, contentment and happiness in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out and share. For, happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself! Give it away generously and it will return to you a thousand fold.
Be the reason for someone's happiness, not just a part of it. Be a part of someone's sadness, but not the reason for it.
Happiness is not what you get from life but it is what you give to others.

Remember always that as we make our journey through life, we have so many things to savor and experience. There is no such thing as instant happiness or happiness that can be found somewhere. Live your life each day the same way you would climb a mountain. An occasional glance at the summit keeps the goal in mind, but many beautiful scenes are to be observed from each new vantage point.

Happiness is indeed a JOURNEY, not a DESTINATION.
No one in this world can dictate to you where you can be happy, if you know where and what it is, go for it. Just remember: Happiness is not a destiny, it's a choice. The biggest lie on this planet is "When I get what I want, I will be happy." All things have a replacement, so when you get something you want, you lose something you need. But true happiness doesn't come from wealth - We don't need material wealth, a perfect job, or an exceptional relationship in order to be happy. In fact, it's possible to know happiness with no job, very little money, and no significant other, because happiness is a by-product of a healthy attitude. And a healthy attitude is one that takes the normal turmoil of life. You are in charge of your attitude today and happiness is a choice you can make for yourself regardless of what the people around you are doing!
Never let anyone make you feel that you don't deserve what you want. You are worthy of your happiness. What they say don't change anything, it doesn't change you, unless you let it.

Forgive others for HURTING your HEART.
For the things of the PAST, you must PART.

There may be CHALLENGES
There may be STORMS, too...

But, LISTEN to yourself
Be FREE for you are FREE
Follow what your heart DESIRES.

Seek yourself through me
For

I am your REFLECTION,

COURAGE IS ALL IT TAKES!

Courage is all it takes

To refrain from gossip

When others delight in it,

To stand up for the absent person

Who is being abused.

Courage is all it takes

To live honestly

Within your means,

And not dishonestly

On the means of others.

Courage is all it takes

To be a REAL man or a TRUE woman,

To hold fast to your ideals

When it causes you

To be looked upon

As strange and peculiar.

Courage is all it takes

To be talked about,

And remain silent,

When a word would justify you

In the eyes of others,

But which you dare not speak

Because it would injure another.

Courage is all it takes

To refuse to do something

That is wrong

Although everyone else

May be doing it

With attitudes as carefree

As a summer song.

Courage is all it takes

To live according

To your own convictions,

To deny yourself

What you cannot afford.

To love your neighbour

As yourself!

VIOLENCE

Domestic and social violence usually starts off with a few angry words and a few hurt feelings that don't get resolved, and then it escalates into feelings of betrayal, rage and revenge. Inner feelings of rage soon spill over into all aspects of society. Social stress multiplies daily with every new report of political upheaval, child abuse, drug abuse, workplace violence, children bringing guns to school, homelessness, ethnic wars or some other crisis. The root cause of a lot of these social stresses is the inner violence created by dysfunctional communication between the heart and the mind. As social stress increases, we're faced with a choice: Retreat into fear and isolation, become angry and bitter, try to ignore it all, or take responsibility for our own stress reactions.

Indeed, we must remove the values that accept violence as a means of resolving conflict. This is because the ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, mothering the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases hate. So it goes. Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that. Hate multiplies hate, violence multiplies violence, and toughness multiplies toughness in a descending spiral of destruction ... The chain reaction of evil - hate begetting hate, wars producing more wars - must be broken,
This means eliminating all spanking, slapping, hair pulling, tickling into hysteria, and shaking, or hitting others, things or ourselves! Anyone who says that throwing things or hitting something is okay still hasn't dealt with the childhood message that those who love you are also those who hit you. Once we learn that hitting is never a display of love, things can change.

BE YOURSELF!

There was a man who saw a scorpion almost drowning in water. He decided to save it by stretching out his finger, but the scorpion stung him. The man still tried, but the scorpion stung him again. Another man nearby told him to stop saving the scorpion. But the man said, "It's the nature of the scorpion to sting, it's my nature to love. Why should I give up my nature to love just because it's the nature of the scorpion to sting?"

Dear ones, don’t ever give up caring, don't give up loving, and don’t give up your goodness even when everyone around you stings because the worst regret we can have in life is not for the wrong things we did, but for the right things we could have done but we never did.

You have to understand that you will never be able to control the way people feel or react to certain things; whatever you do, someone will CRITICIZE you. You will be BLAMED if you act and even if you don't act; if you speak, or don't speak. It’s in their NATURE so never let someone's NEGATIVE judgments of you RUIN your day or let you think LESS of yourself because they are the ones that have no idea who you really are. Let them snicker, laugh and make comments about you because they truly have no PLACE in your life anyways. Yes, they can CHANGE their behaviors and their attitudes, but their CHARACTER is who they are! Therefore, live life for you, live life like GOD would want you to, without worry, without fear, but with FAITH, DETERMINATION and PERSEVERANCE! Live to make you happy! After all, you're the only one that can live your life!

Indeed, you can't keep PLEASING everyone. If your focus is on finding shortcomings, either in yourself or in others, you cannot raise higher. Recognize that if someone gives a comment or criticizes, reflect on it. If there is some TRUTH, accept it. If not, then thank them and move on.

Don't ever let them tell you what you need to do or DICTATE to you. You are the only person who can tell what you want to do and where you want to be. Let your thinking be the tool for your success. Live the life you love and love the life you live but always remember GOD FIRST!

SUCCESS!

Bookmark and Share
Success in life is not a matter of idle chance,

It’s a matter of making the right choices.
It's not something you wait for,
But rather something you'll achieve with effort.
Things won't turn up in this world until you turn them up.

Success is neither magical nor mysterious.
The people that truly succeed in the world
Are the people who look for the circumstances they want,
And, if they can't find them, make them.
Don't sit on the sidelines, get in the game.
Your access to success has no real limits.

The great opportunity in your life is where you are right now.
Every situation, properly perceived, becomes an opportunity for you.
You have grand opportunities all around you.
Open your eyes and you will find it.

No one can ever unfold the mysteries of life.
The moment where when you feel that everything is just right and as you want, the next moment it changes. Life is unpredictable and full of uncertainties, where success, praise, love or friendship can take you to the new heights of joy and happiness, at the same time failures, disappointments, heartbreaks or grief of losing your dear one can make you disheartened and depressed. But as it is said one has to move on!

Obstacles, obstructions, hindrances, and impediments; all of these spring from the same meaning which unfortunately we tend to supply our minds with. The more you feed your mind with positive words and positive meanings, the more progress you will achieve. Feel the success before you achieve it and the best way to do so is to supply yourself every morning with positiveness, happiness and love. Keep in your mind that success starts from the point where you have failed.

If you have the desire, you have the power.
Taking action is all that is required.

WhO Said We Have To Be PERFECT?

Bookmark and Share
As humans as we are, are we PERFECT?

Some of us may try more, some of us, less; some don't worry too much about being perfect.

In the end, it probably isn't that much about being “PERFECT” but being HUMAN, being a UNIQUE INDIVIDUAL! An individual, part of this big cosmic net we all belong to in our own individuality, but at the same time being all INTERCONNECTED.
We are individuals with GOOD and BAD features, with a superb intellect and/or health, with illnesses and disorders and so on. But it is right there where and what the challenge of life is: If we have weaknesses and we are aware of them, then let us try to overcome them; if we can't, let us try to live with them the best way as possible, never falling into self-pity, that hole is too deep and too dark, and leads us and the ones around us, nowhere.

Instead, why don’t we try to work on ourselves? How? Why not try “scanning” us as objective as possible, to see where and why we are failing, what we may and can improve. I’m sure we can. I don’t subscribe to the saying that –particularly after a certain age– there is no way that a human being is able to CHANGE.
We are always moving between good and bad, happiness and sadness, good and bad temper, mood swings. We have to accept this as part of our own individuality. Once we accept it, we will be more able and willing to correct and change for better, whatever we want and can. So don’t judge others by your own thoughts. They are living a different life than you are. What might be good for one person may be bad for another. What might be bad for one person might change another person's life. Allow people to make their own mistakes & decisions, because we learn and grow with each decision and/or mistake that we make...but again, what might be a mistake for you may be a blessing for someone else

We don't have to be perfect; we just have to be us, because there is no such thing as a perfect person or life. But we can always try to grow and improve through our own paths of life. We all have something that another can learn from. We should always see “the glass half full, not half empty”. And last but not least, never do to do others what we wouldn't want others to do to us.
Let us live for today, love for tomorrow and give one another a chance before giving up!
